Preservation of the cultural material heritage focused on the state of Paraná

Abstract

This article takes a new look at cultural heritage, noting that in certain places, what is of greatest value is something of an intangible nature, that is, the ways of acting, knowing and creating, in a given space. Furthermore, Other aspects of the identify and material memory of a given local, regional or national community are verified. The study’s general objective is to analyze the preservation of cultural heritage and developmentin two scenarios in Paraná. This is a bibliographic study, based on the deductive method, within a qualitative procedure of na exploratory nature and in a second momento f documentar research using the inductive method. It also discusses examples of successful praticves for preserving cultural heritage in Paraná, as well as the challenges faced. The study also aims to offer recommendations to strenthen public policies, so that They promote sustainable development that values the State’s cultural heritage.
