The present article aims to propose a biographic frontier critical (Nolasco, 2015) reflection from the book Livro de pré-coisas: roteiro para uma excursão poética no Pantanal by Manoel de Barros (2021), in order to think through the precepts that encompass the theatrical scenic view (Magaldi, 1994), the construction of the scenario in Manoel de Barros’ works through the links with biolocus (Nolasco, 2015). In this premise, we will take the landscape (Nolasco, 2012) of the bioceanic route as an analogy that allows us to think the dialogues made through theorization as if they were scripts that connect the inscription of the frontier body (Noronha, 2024) in the performance of a scenic construction that is concretised in the enunciative creation. As a result, the Pantanal is understood as the stage that covers border landscapes (Nolasco, 2012) that are established as the scenario that houses this epistemic-body (Noronha, 2024) of the manlikeimage (Bessa-Oliveira, 2017), which means, a scenography that starts from the author’s body and welcomes the body of the other who transits the border erected in his statement. Thus, it will be salutar the theoretical studies of Marcos Antônio Bessa-Oliveira (2017), Edgar Cézar Nolasco (2012; 2015), Sabato Magaldi (1994), Marina Maura Noronha (2024) and Sonia Aparecida Vido Pascolati (2009).
