This article aims to discuss the issue of legal protection regarding the use of YouTube channels aimed at children. It is understood as a current issue the constant growth of media channels for infants, whose content can be about education, games and drawings, as well as content for presentation and demonstration of products aimed at this audience. Such content may present economic interests, thus creating a risk factor for abusive advertising, carried out directly or indirectly, to be present in order to reach those for which it is intended. The objective of the work is to verify the existence of legal means for the protection of abusive advertising in YouTube videos for children. The method used is the bibliographic review, considering that laws and resolutions that deal with the problem will be researched, still seeking in the jurisprudence some concrete situation in which the general problem passed through the scrutiny of the Judiciary. The results obtained came from the meeting of certain regulations that directly or indirectly regulated the issue of child advertising, concluding that there is a need for attention to possible abuse in this area, as the normative guidelines are usually more general than specific.
