A movie, a rose and the body, thinking and defining: philosophical provocations

Abstract

The Name of the Rose is not only a work that medieval European world and the power exercised by the Catholic Church of the time, a Catholic Church of the time, it's a film for reflecting on the types of rationality, power relations power relations that these types of rationalities produce and their misconceptions. By reflecting reflect on these issues from a credible historical reconstruction, the reflections produced by the feature film can lead to an attitude of epistemic reworking of the positions we take when questioning the world, as it concepts, rethinking ideas, reworking perspectives, broadening the way we see the body and rationality. way of seeing the body and rationality. To interpret it in this way, we made use of a qualitative bibliographical review in order to highlight points not always considered fundamental, but which are politically, socially and culturally important.
